Publication Charges Policy
Indus Journal of Law and Social Sciences (IJLSS) seeks to provide transparency in our publication fees and related processes. Our Publication Charges Policy outlines the costs associated with publishing in the journal and the procedures for managing these fees.
- Standard APC: A non-refundable Article Processing Charge (APC) of $100 is levied for each accepted manuscript. This fee encompasses all editorial, peer-review, and production processes, ensuring that the publication maintains its high standards and quality.
- Commitment to Promoting Research: The Indus Journal of Law and Social Sciences (IJLSS) is dedicated to advancing research within the legal fraternity and social sciences. To support this mission, IJLSS charges only the standard APC and does not impose any additional fees. This policy reflects our commitment to making high-quality research accessible and promoting scholarly contributions without imposing financial burdens on our contributors.
- Discounts and Waivers: In line with our support for the academic community, discounts or waivers on the APC may be granted under specific circumstances, such as for authors from low-income countries or in exceptional cases as determined by the editorial board. This ensures that financial constraints do not hinder the dissemination of valuable research within our focus areas.
- Payment Procedure
Invoice Issuance: Upon acceptance of a manuscript, an invoice detailing the APC will be issued to the corresponding author.
Payment Terms: The APC must be settled within 30 days from the date of the invoice to avoid delays in publication. Payment details and methods will be provided along with the invoice.
- Refund Policy
Non-Refundable APC: The APC is non-refundable once payment is received. This policy applies irrespective of whether the manuscript is subsequently withdrawn or rejected after acceptance.
- Additional Costs
Reprints and Extra Copies: Costs associated with reprints or additional copies of the published article are separate from the APC and will be communicated to the author upon request.
- Financial Assistance
- Institutional Support: Authors are encouraged to explore if their institutions offer financial support or subsidies for publication fees.
- Funding Opportunities: Information about potential funding sources or grants to cover publication fees may be requested from the journal's administrative office.
